Our Mission
Our mission is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by fostering a Spirit-led environment where individuals are nurtured through the teaching of biblical truth, strengthened through meaningful worship, equipped through intentional discipleship, and embraced by a community devoted to love, healing, and the salvation of souls—all built upon the daily practice of a personal relationship with God as the foundation of a transformed life.
Our Beliefs
At First United Pentecostal Church of Groesbeck, we are a Spirit-filled, Bible-believing church committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Apostles.
One God: We believe in one God who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Ghost in regeneration—Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 2:9).
Salvation: We believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance from sin, water baptism in the Name of Jesus, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:38).
Holy Living: We strive to live a holy and separated life, both inwardly and outwardly, as a response to God’s grace and as a witness to the world (Romans 12:1-2; Hebrews 12:14).
The Bible: We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our ultimate authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16).
